If you are looking for a vegan alternative for bushes I am sure you will like this one. The one fact that really stands out to me and I like about The Body Shop is their comment to enrich and not exploit.

I have found The Body Shop Paddle brush to be good at detangling. I would say this is not really a styling brush. It can do some light styling along with a blow dryer. According to Meesh, Hair Product Analyst, “The bristles on the brush are really too far apart to be really great at styling. For styling you need a brush that can grab you hair and have tension while you apply heat from the hair dryer.” The body shop paddle bush allows your hair to slip through without providing much tension. This is actually what you want in a detangling brush. The brush is made of nylon bristles with a sustainable Bamboo handle. The bristles are mounted in a flexible cushion. The air cushion allows to the bristles to have some movement and flex while brushing. This paddle brush would excel for those who have thick or longer hair.

According to Stacey, Hair Research Analyst, “The Body Shop paddle hairbrush is comparable to the Aveda paddle brush. Both brushes are very similar in shape and style. However I would give the edge to the Aveda paddle brush over the Body Shop brush. I will say this the Body Shop hairbrush is much cheaper than the Aveda paddle brush. So if price is a concern go the Body Shop hairbrush.

I recommend the Body Shop paddle hairbrush for long thick hair. Its a very good value for the price.
