Asavea Hair Straightening Brush With Ion Generator

I do like that for shoulder length hair and after your have mastered styling techniques you can get straight hair in about 5 to 10 minutes depending on your hair type. If you have longer hair shoulder length and longer most likely it’s taking between 45 minutes and one hour to straighten your hair using a flat iron. With the Asavea straightening brush you will cut that time down to as little as 20 minutes.

The brush works well and is a quality product at a good price. It’s not overpriced. Where it falls short is the temperature display. It’s a simple three dot indicator where Red is 400 degrees, Yellow is 320 degrees and Green is 250 degrees. I would have liked to have seen a digital read-out of the exact temperature instead of the three dot display.

Most people are going to like the brush. It gets favorable reviews. I believe most people moving from a flat iron, using this brush they will be skeptical at first but after using a few times and getting the hang of it will like it’s performance. It smooths and straightens while maintaining body and fullness. According to Meesh, Hair Product Analyst, “With shoulder length hair it takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes in most cases.

It seems to work well on African American hair that is not too short. Your hair has to be long enough for the brush part to make good contact with your hair. Most mid-length hair should be OK.

Wavy or curly hair is no problem. Wash your hair, dry as usual then do a comb trough and then use the brush. Your results should be nice and straight. You may need to spend a little long time on the ends.

Asavea Hair Straightening Brush 4 Conclusion

I like this product and think with a price point around $44.00 is good. Price on the manufacture’s website is $59.99. At $60.00. I think the price is a little too much considering other very similar products are on the market in the $30.00 to $40.00 price rang at the time of this writing. However (at the time of this writing) we were unable to find one for purchase. We did find the Glaze Asavea Hair Straightening Brush. Looks like this might be a newer model or maybe an upgrade, not sure. Maybe that’s why we were not able to find a gen 4 for sale, not sure. The manufacture’s website does not have much product information as compared to other manufacturer websites so its hard to tell. At any rate, if you can get your hands on one it seems to be a good buy and will perform as anticipated. I would not recommend purchasing a used one.

In most cases if you are spending forty minutes on your hair using this brush can cut your time down to around fifteen minutes or so. You may need to spend a little more time on the ends. This product is a great time saver.

I also found that by using a small amount of Argan oil helps protect your hair while brushing. It also makes detangling easier and lets the brush glide through your hair much easier. It can also be used a a leave in conditioner. It’s a 2-in-1 product that saves time while protecting your hair. I like Argan oil because it does not smell strong. It’s not overpowering. It has a pleasant smell.

According to Stacey, Hair Research Analyst, “Please note there are other hair brush manufactures that do not recommend using any oil at all with their product. So just because this product recommends the use of hair protectants does not mean it’s OK for other brushes. Make sure to read the manual.

At the time of this writing it’s OK to use a hair protectant oil with the gen 4 brush but please make sure you read the manufacturers instructions prior to use and not no rely on this website.
